There are a few parks in the area to throw a frisbee or relax and have a picnic. Some of them are right on the water.

Indoor pool and hot tub area is where you can swim and take in a muscle soothing hot tub when it's a bit chilly out or just because it's a beautiful place to hang out.
The Fitness Center where you can workout while watching one of the three flat screens.
You can enjoy the lake view while doing your cardio in the fitness center.
The Fitness Center has machine and free weights.
The Dry Sauna's are in both Men's and Women's Dressing areas.
The Island Spa where you can get a massage, facial, manicure and more. Located inside the workout area.

Wisteria Courtyard outside Villa #2 has beautiful purple blossoms in the spring.
The barbeque and fire pit area where you can enjoy some good Texas steaks and burgers. There are two built in charcoal grills.
The tennis courts and shuffle board courts. Don't hit the ball to hard or you'll be going fishing... which is another pass time at the island.
The Gate House to the Island is just the beginning to your vacation or weekend getaway.

In Lago Vista the deer are abundant and you can often see them on the island. Some of them will eat right out of your hand. As seen in the picture in front of the island's gate house.
